I hate connecting to a Left 4 Dead 2 Server and getting a bunch of plugin junk loaded to ruin the experience. Naturally, I thought it’d be better to just host some servers of my own! We are now running five Left 4 Dead 2 server instances. There are two ways you can connect to

The Minecraft map has been regenerated with Minecraft Overviewer. I experimented with another project, but the project isn’t very well maintained, nor has it been forked just yet. Unfortunately, a few chunks of map aren’t rendering at all (even though the map data is there). Forcing a re-render isn’t working, from scratch or after the

No problems were encountered during the server move. In the weird event that you are unable to connect to the Minecraft server, but this

It appears that the Minecraft Overviewer that we are using is not updating correctly since we updated to 1.13. According to this GitHub issue, they are having some troubles trying to support it. I may look into another solution when I have some more free time, depending on if/when they get the new update to

The Aquatic update is finally out, and we’ve updated our server to the latest version! We have a backup just in case, so feel free to reach out to me if you encounter any problems. It appears that we can update the world configuration and run an “optimized” version. I’ll have to look into this
